ABOUT
ORIGINS
Caltattoo was born in the UK in 1989 and grew up in a small village.
From a young age, art was central to his life, drawing detailed landscapes and portraits. His school years focused almost entirely on Art and Design.
At 18, after a failed attempt at becoming an Architectural Technician, he traveled through Australia and New Zealand, discovering a new talent and channeling his artistic skills into a skilled trade.

TATTOO BEGINNINGS
In 2012, he began an apprenticeship at a small tattoo studio, mostly self-taught, taking on small projects for walk-in clients.
He later trained alongside Pepa Heller at Bohemian Tattooarts and Matt Jordan at Shipshape Tattoo Orewa, refining his skills and specializing in Black and Grey Realism.
CURRENT STYLE
Cal continues to evolve his style, pushing the boundaries to create unique, lifelong designs for clients.
He currently works in Calgary, AB, and participates in regular global guest spots.
